KT-ICT
The KT-ICT (in-circuit test) software is shipped to you whenever you purchase an ICT guarding amplifier from us or if you have acquired an ICT test system from our company. It provides all functions for measuring electronic components as part of a test program development.
Currently the following measurement functions are currently supported:
- 2-wire and 4-wire resistance
- capacity
- inductance
- impedance
- diode
- transistor
- Zener Diode
- Varistor
- continuity test
- short circuit test
- discharge function for capacitor measurement
- GoldCap capacitors
The software is essentially designed as a DLL for use with 32-bit Windows operating systems. Based on this DLL, an interface to NI TestStand is provided, as well as functions for use in C/C++ and in NI LabVIEW. First of all, all measuring technology resources are described in an Excel topology file. These include all test points which can be read in plain text (pin identifiers) and are then available in all configuration panels.
Central configuration interfaces are available for:
- reading the topology file
- ICT initialization
- matrix-Selbsttest
- continuity testing
- short circuit testing
- ICT test (component measurement itself)
There are also a series of configuration panels and a “Pin Finder” panel for support in wiring test adapters available. All measurement results are automatically saved in the background in KT Results Format. These results can either be viewed immediately using the implemented viewing function or with our separately available external file viewer and statistics tool KT-STAT.
As an alternative to manual programming, tools from Router Solutions are available for processing your CAD data with which the ICT programming tool can be automated to the greatest possible extent. In addition, the CAMCAD program suite can be used for calculating the test coverage (DFT = Design for Testability).
